Full-view as always, thank you~

Omg LAME title. XD Couldn't think of anything better.
Anyways, here's ~Shokaider's fox character again, Hideaki Hibiki. :3 For anyone who's seen this: [link] you'll see that Hide has changed quite a bit. His left eye is now violet, and his hair is spikier. He also lost his pink gi and wears a black trench coat-like leather jacket along with black leather pants and shiny black boots, now.
Hide's real name (birthname) is really Takehiko Reginar du Mardar, but he goes by Hide (pronounced "HEE-DAY"). X3 Why? Because he was raised by another man who adopted him when Hide was abandoned as a kit by his mother (she had good reasons, she was protecting him. Dun hold it against her. XD; ).

ANYWAYS, this isn't story-telling time... XD I went off-tangent a bit. On to the picture itself~
I drew this for ~Shokaider after working on the original piece for some time... y'see, this was handdrawn, at first, and the drawing had a completely different background. XD It had a cityscape background. I might upload it if I ever finish it. And I felt bad for not having finished it yet (he's been waiting for weeks), so... I made this! <3 And I made it a surprise~ he had no idea I was working on it until I gave it to 'im. >X3

I scanned the drawing and cropped it so only Hide would be included in the pic, then I outlined it, colored it, shaded it and added a background to it... all in openCanvas. :3

I tried doing the twilight effect (that line of orange/red in the distance behind Hide), since the sky is supposed to be twilight lit (as it says in the title.) And... I'unno. XD I guess it's okay for my very first try. :3 There's a reason to why the sky is lit like that, too. It's not any NORMAL twilight sky... >>; And I apologize for the overall background being so dark. @_@; It is nighttime there, after all... kinda couldn't make it brighter. XD; So I apologize if it's hard to see the outlines of Hide's jacket, his eartips, his hair and one of his black bangs. Sorry. @-@ Try turning up the brightness/contrast on your monitor if it's really hard to see
I LOVE the Blur and Smudge tools in oC, so much... @@ This pic wouldn't have been possible without them. XD Oooh, and this was also my first time ever shading leather (Hide's leather jacket), as well. The shines turned out okay, I suppose. X3 'Least for my first try. <3;
I am totally in love with Hide's face, expression and eye, though. I gave him narrow pupils, so he looks more foxish. <3~ And the shines in his hair turned out so PERFECT~ I also rather like that moon. XD All glowy~ X3

Anyways, I hope ya'll enjoy this~! <3 I certainly enjoyed making it. X3 I'm actually rather proud of it~ I would like to hear everyone's comments on this, but no critique, please. This is the final product and I'm not making any changes. X3; ALL other comments are welcome, though~ <3


Medium: openCanvas. All of it, except for the original sketch. Original sketch was traditionally drawn, the cropped version can be seen here.
Time: About 12 hours, collectively. Worked on it on-and-off for 4 days.
